Maintenance Information

According to the KESO maintenance instructions supplied with the product:

• KESO lock cylinders are precision products.
• Do not apply grease.
• Do not apply oil.
• Do not use graphite.
• Keep the cylinder free from paint and varnish.
• Use KESO-approved maintenance products when servicing the cylinder.

Installation Notes

According to the supplied KESO instructions:

• The cylinder should be installed so that it sits flush with the fitting or escutcheon.
• Security escutcheons are recommended for exterior door installations.
• Additional corrosion protection should be considered in damp, outdoor, or coastal environments.

Security Card System

This cylinder is supplied with an original KESO security card. The manufacturer's documentation states that registered or patented lock systems may require proof of ownership for the ordering of duplicate keys or cylinders.
